In the process of researching and designing a study, I learned about how to ensure academic rigor and creating a detailed plan to ensure that results are both valid and sound. By doing so I feel better prepared for future academic roles or employment opportunities. I also feel better prepared to read academic literature and to be able to understand the processes and results from studies and research. Also, I've gained an appreciated for those who engage in research for their effort and brilliance in devising and carrying out research in a way that is sound and reliable. I appreciate the feedback I've received from my classmates and Dr B. to improve my skills as a writer and researcher.
Having been one of these feedback giving classmates, I am also grateful for your feedback. Your notes have helped contribute to my own final products in this course and I am grateful for that. Your plans to apply lessons learned from a humanities science to the music world is truly creative and I hope those plans lead you someplace interesting. You definitely have the drive and acuity to pursue it further. Good luck in those and all future endeavors!
